Don’t let your child miss out! Registration for the above class closes at 12pm tomorrow, or when the class is full. The course starts tomorrow at 4pm, Monday-Friday, via Zoom.

Why is it a micro-course? There’s a maximum of 3 students per class, to maximise 1:1 time while allowing peer learning to take place naturally. Small class = focused attention, fun, no waiting, and effective progress.
Why punctuation? You can spot in a heartbeat writing from:
A student who struggles,
A student who is doing okay,
A student who is using advanced punctuation with flair and confidence.
It’s a quick way to begin assessing a child’s work within minutes. It’s also a great place to make rapid progress.
This is not intelligence, this is skillset. It’s about being exposed to wonderful punctuation in reading, it’s about being taught explicit punctuation uses, and using them in lots of deliberate practice. It’s about folding a sprinkling of punctuation across all writing, fiction or non fiction.
I’m running this course so that children can have exposure to the types of uses that will make writing dazzle and stand out.
I’m running this course because we use punctuation in every sentence, but it’s often taught as an add on, or it’s only spoken about when there’s an error. This is reaction; it is wiser to be responsive, proactive, and learn in advance.
I’m running this course to allow your child the opportunity to gain confidence and eloquence in using advanced and fundamental punctuation in their weekly writing practice. This deliberate practice is what will ensure they make progress towards the final goal of an offer in a top, competitive grammar school.
It became a reality for my own children: places in Nonsuch Girls and Wilson’s. It becomes the reality for my students each year.
